Tanzania northern circuit safari is the most celebrated safari area in Tanzania and Africa in general. Famous Serengeti National park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National park, Arusha National Park, and Tarangire National Park. Each of this has its Peculier character. We offer several packages on this parks depending with your preferences and time


Arusha National Park ( one day)
We offer one day safari to this small but varied park with spectacular landscapes in three distinct areas, in the west, the Meru Crater funnels the Jekukumia River in which the peak of Mount Meru lies on its rim, in south of the park there is Ngurudoto Crater, in the east there is grassland with few acacia and tropical forest. The shallow alkaline Momella Lakes in the north-east have varying alga colours and are known for their wading birds.

Pick up from Arusha town and drive to Arusha National Park. The park (137km²), has terrain ranging from open savannah through acacia scrublands to Afro-montane cloud and rain forest and Afro-alpine vegetation similar to Mount Kilimanjaro. There are several alkaline lakes and the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater. Mammal species include elephant, buffalo, various primates, giraffe and leopard. Hiking is allowed if accompanied by an armed guard and the climb up Mount Meru is superb, often giving the best views available of Mount Kilimanjaro. At 4,556m, Mount Meru is the fifth highest mountain in Africa and is located in the Arusha National Park. Lunch is served at Momela Wildlife Lodge. The tour ends in Arusha town at around 1700hrs

Lake Manyara National Park ( one day safari)
Lake Manyara National Park is located in Arusha and manyara region and its known for the flamingo that inhabits the lake. During the wet season they inhabit the edges of the lake in flocks of thousands but they are not so present during the dry season. More than 400 species of birds inhabit the park and many remain throughout the year. Because of this Lake Manyara National Park is a good spot for bird watching. Tourists can relax expect to see more than of 100 different species of bird a day.

Pick up from Arusha town and drive to Lake Manyara. This is one of the most diverse of Tanzania’s national parks, a tiny (325km²) combination of Rift Valley Lake, dense woodlands and steep mountainside. Manyara is a birding paradise (more than 380 species), especially for waterfowl and migrants and the forests are one of the best places around to see leopards. Lions hunt on the grassy shores of the lake and were once known for their habit of climbing trees, although this behavior seems to have been dropped in recent years. The park can easily be seen in a day. Most visitors will tailor a visit to Manyara to fit in with a trip to one of the Big Three parks (Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorongoro). Lunch is included during this tour. The tour ends in Arusha town at around 1700hrs.

Tarangire National National Park (One day)
Tarangire is known for its tree-climbing lions and for its very big herds of buffalos, this is one of Africa’s little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude. Tarangire is Decorated with its unrivalled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs, and perennial Tarangire River takes over the northern part of Tarangire, the river flows upwards up to when it leaves the corner of the park, in the North West flowing into Lake Burungi and join number of wide swamps which dry into green plains during the dry season in the south.

Tourists are expected to see over 30,000 zebra, 25,000 wildebeest, 5,000 buffalo, 3,000 elephant, and 2,500 giraffe and over 1,000 fringe-eared Oryx (gemsbok). Similarly lion, cheetah and leopard (wonderful predators) the Park is also accommodating and birders who want to look out for the endemic ashy starling, rufous-tailed weaver and black-collared lovebird, in which more than 80 varieties of birds can be seen occasionally.

At 2,600km², Tarangire is far from being the biggest of the Tanzanian parks, but its unrivalled landscape of open plains, dotted with thousands of baobabs, is unforgettable. About 120kms south of Arusha. Tarangire is known for its tree-climbing lions and for its very big herds of buffalo. This is one of Africa’s little-known gems and should be on the itinerary of all lovers of wilderness and solitude. The game numbers are staggering: 30,000 zebra, 25,000 wildebeest, 5,000 buffalo, 3,000 elephant, 2,500 Maasai giraffe and over 1,000 fringe-eared oryx (gemsbok). Day 1:
The tour starts with lunch in Arusha town at 1230hrs. 1400hrs, drive to Lake Manyara. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/hotel.

Day 2:
Enjoy a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Lunch at the lodge. Then drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3:
Today you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Picnic lunches will be served in the crater. Dinner and overnight at the lodge in Ngorongoro

Day 4:
After breakfast. Drive back to Arusha. Lunch in Arusha town.


• 4 nights/5 days Ngorongoro / Serengeti and Manyara (Option 2, Idea Camping Safari)
Day 1:
The tour starts with lunch in Arusha town at 1230hrs. 1400hrs, drive to Lake Manyara. Enjoy an evening game drive in the Lake National Park whose inhabitants include hippos, monkeys, tree climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 2:
After an early breakfast, drive to Serengeti National Park. Lunch at the lodge. Spend the afternoon game viewing in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3:
Depart for an early morning around your lodge, return to the lodge for breakfast. Mid morning, depart for Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch at the lodge. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 metres) to the floor of the crater for a half day crater tour. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 4:
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions. Dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 5:
Enjoy an early morning game drive in the Tarangire National Park. Breakfast at the lodge, followed by the drive back to Arusha with game viewing en route. Lunch in Arusha town.


• 6 days Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire
Day 1:
Leave Arusha and drive to the Serengeti! Afternoon game drive in the rolling grasslands. Criss-crossed with forested riverine valleys, the Serengeti plays home to millions of Africa’s large mammals, making this one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. Overnight at Wildlife lodge

Day 2:
All day game drive in Serengeti. Best time for the wildebeest migration is late Dec to June but there are spectacular wildlife sights at anytime of year. Overnight at Wildlife Lodge

Day 3:
Further game drive in Serengeti and then on to the Ngorongoro Crater. Lunch en-route at Olduvai Gorge and a view of the archaeological sites (and visit the museum) where early human tools and fossils have been found. Overnight at Wildlife Lodge

Day 4:
Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano - an incredible natural amphitheatre, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descent into the crater for full game drive. In mid afternoon continue on to Mto Wa Mbu near Manyara for overnight at Wildlife lodge

Day 5:
Early morning game drive around Lake Manyara National Park. This park is famed for the bird life around the soda lake - flamingos in particular, and is home to unusual tree-climbing lions. It also has a large elephant population. Overnight at Wildlife Lodge

Day 6:
In the morning drive to Tarangire, named after the river that flows through the park, Tarangire National Park is one of the lesser known Tanzanian National Parks, giving it a real air of undiscovered Africa. Famous of massive baobabs and large herds of elephant, Tarangire National Park is small but still home to a significant wildlife population with a density of wildlife matched on by Ngorongoro. Drive back to Arusha town. Overnight at Arusha Hotel
